Our Story

Sylvan Ridge Farm is a family-owned event venue and vacation rental property just outside Milford, PA. Owners Alec and Linnea Geno live half a mile up the road with their children Everett and Kira, their Great Pyrenees mix rescue pups Nova and Chaplin, and their Shire/Irish Cob cross Bowie.

Linnea Geno (née Peckham) grew up here on Cummins Hill and always dreamed of raising a family in her childhood home. She and Alec spent their early married years living abroad, learning the hospitality business in New Zealand and then moving to Leuven, Belgium for Alec's graduate education. The opportunity to purchase 30 beautiful acres bordering Linnea's family property initiated their move back to Milford, Pennsylvania and the start of a four-year journey developing the land into a unique venue for the wider community to enjoy.

Venue Management

Alec Geno
Property Manager

Alec is a native of St. Louis but has taken nicely to life in the Northeast. He co-owns Sylvan Ridge Farm and oversees its property care/development and finances. In his free time he enjoys strength training, mountain biking, tabletop gaming, reading fantasy, and re-watching IT Crowd. He has an MA in philosophy and is always up for deep discussions over good Belgian-style beer.

Linnea Geno
Bookings Manager

Linnea grew up in Milford, escaped for a while, and then came back for good. She is Sylvan Ridge Farm's other co-owner, and handles contracts, invoicing, web design, social media, and occasional venue tours. Her favorite pastimes are horseback riding, hiking, playing piano, board games with friends, reading literary fiction, travel, and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Event Management

Alyssa Huddleston
Event manager / Wedding coordinator

Alyssa is a Milford local, and assumed her role at Sylvan Ridge Farm after moving back to the area following over a decade in the wedding industry in major cities like Philly, NYC, Dallas, and Jacksonville. She manages inquiries and most venue tours, leads our seasonal event staff, and personally coordinates every wedding!

She brings a wealth of knowledge, next-level organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Having worked with a diverse range of couples, she knows how to create unforgettable, personalized celebrations that fit the needs of each group. Outside of work, she loves spending time in nature and with her family.
