Sylvan Ridge Farm is a family-owned event venue and vacation rental property just outside Milford, PA. Owners Alec and Linnea Geno live half a mile up the road with their children, Everett and Kira, and their Great Pyrenees mix rescue pups, Nova and Chaplin. They also own a Shire/Irish Cob cross, Elton, who lives at a nearby friend's farm.
Linnea Geno (née Peckham) grew up on Cummins Hill and always dreamed of raising a family in her childhood home. She and Alec spent their first years of marriage living abroad, learning the hospitality business in New Zealand and then moving to Leuven, Belgium for Alec's graduate education. The opportunity to purchase 30 beautiful acres bordering Linnea's family property initiated their move back to Milford, Pennsylvania and the start of a four-year journey developing the land into a unique venue for the wider community to enjoy.

Alec is a native of St. Louis, MO, but has taken nicely to life in the Northeast. He co-owns Sylvan Ridge Farm with his wife Linnea, and oversees property care, development, and financials. In his free time he enjoys strength training, mountain biking, tabletop gaming, reading fantasy, and re-watching IT Crowd. He's always up to talk philosophy over a good Belgian-style beer.
Linnea grew up here in Milford, escaped for a while, and then came back for good. She is Sylvan Ridge Farm's other co-owner, and handles inquiries, venue tours, contracts, invoicing, web design, and social media. Her favorite pastimes are horseback riding, hiking, playing piano, reading literary fiction, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
Sylvan Ridge Farm’s event coordination is overseen by Sara Mack (center), founder of Sara Mack Events. Sara has over a decade of event experience, and has been running weddings and events at SRF since our opening in 2021, first as an outside planner and then as the venue’s in-house coordinator.
